Hospitality 2019.. TASK THREE

In this picture, we are showing our hands to make sure we have no open cuts or any injuries and we can cover them up with a bandaid and a rubber glove. And just to make sure if our cuts start to bleed the blood will go in the glove and not in our food.

we are ensuring, we wash our hands under warm water with soap to get rid of any harmful bacteria. And we also use a  nail brush to rid of any dirt from under our nails that could go in our food...

In this picture are showing we are wearing an apron to stop any bacteria from our clothes going into our food. And it stops food getting on our clothes. And we are also showing we are wearing the correct shoes and that they are tied up so we are not able to trip over them and really hurt ourselves.

This picture we are making sure our hair is tied back into a nice tight bun or we have the option to wear a hair net to stop hair getting in our foods and cause cross contamination. And it stops use pulling out any hair out of our food.

Another thing we should be mindful of is that we take off all of our jewelry is off and in our bags

(Task 5)
If you work in a kitchen and you are dealing with raw meat such as chicken you need to make sure you are using the right board and knife and when you have finished making you wash your hand's after dealing with raw chicken to stop cross-contamination when dealing with other food's and you clean up after you have finished cooking so you don't get pests in your workplace such as rat's, ants, cockroaches and any other kind's of pests.

  1. Hey Jammine a couple of things to work on, please make sure your photos are set to share otherwise they don't come up on your blog, and you also need to explain the importance of removing jewellery and not having on nail polish in regards to contamination
